One of the most beautiful villages of our region, indeed of France. Minerve will surprise you with its amazing history. Minerve is set on a large rock between the gorges of the river Cesse and Brian, which gives it a remarkable geological location. It was an important center of Catharism, as in the summer of 1210 there was a crusade against the Albigenses. There are two museums to visit which have all the information of the crusade etc. There are plenty of A.O.C Minervois wines to sample and the restaurants are renowned for their quality of food.
