| L’Amandier is sufficiently set
back from the access gates to play boules (or ‘pétanque’ as the Provençal
version of the game is called) in front of the house. A beautiful almond tree stands at the front, while fig and apricot trees are planted to the side. The house is entered through a pretty conservatory, revealing a spacious, open-plan terracotta tiled living room and dining room with wood-burning fire. |

ATTRACTIONS St. Nazaire is ideally located to explore the abbey of Fontfroide, the dramatically perched village of Minerve, and the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. Narbonne’s lively covered market offers an exceptional variety of local produce, while regular boat cruises departing from the Canal de la Robine are a good introduction to the tree-lined Canal du Midi. Further afield is the poetic coastal resort of Collioure captured in the paintings of Matisse and Derain, while the closer walled city of Carcassonne and its neighbouring Cathar castles will satisfy the needs of the most avid historian!

Villa L'Amandier, St Nazaire., Languedoc Rental costs are based on Sterling. Rental is Saturday to Saturday arrival between 4-6pm departure by 10.30 am. Price includes electricity and gas (except low season). For low season, electricity and gas at cost. Sets of bed linen are available at 10 Euros each, sets of towels at 3 Euros each. Tea towels are provided. Please bring your own swimming towels. |
